As our students and parents all know, the INICIO experience is unlike any other type of tuition and we have tried to replicate the face to face set up and environment as much as we possibly can with our online tutoring! We have been based in the heart of Market Harborough for 9.5 years(!) and we are delighted to be able to bring our unique style of tutoring online to homes further afield thanks to the wonders of technology. We have always known that not all young minds work the same way, so our methods are very different to the average tuition service, as evidenced by almost a decade serving the local area and by the volume of families who have been with us for subject after subject, sibling after sibling. Our aim is to inspire a brand new attitude to learning and this is achieved by listening to our learners, adapting to them and by creating a unique and stimulating, virtual learning environment.
We are passionate, yet relaxed and so you will be surprised by how your child will be happy to attend the online sessions and look forward to their weekly link up with their tutor. How Does The Virtual Classroom Work?
Our Virtual Classroom is not your average tutoring software and, as a matter of fact, doesn’t even involve software! All you need is a computer or laptop to join us and, if you don’t have those, the sessions are even possible through an iPad or phone, although functionality such as writing by hand is reduced. You’ll need Firefox or Chrome as your internet browser (not Safari) so, if you don’t currently use these, simply type ‘download Firefox’ or ‘download Chrome‘ into Google and follow the instructions. In just a few minutes, you’ll be able to open that browser, access your email for the link that we send over and away you go, ready to start your online tuition class!
Using an online platform has not only meant that our current students have been able to continue their learning pathway with us without disruption, but we have also been able to accept new learners and assess them (as we always have) in order to tailor their own tuition for future sessions. The feedback has been phenomenal and we’re so pleased that we’ve been able to offer continuity and support to all of you!
Even students who have relocated after starting in-person tuition with us have benefitted from being able to continue with their tutor online; we have seen sessions move to the Virtual Classroom after moving home across Leicestershire but also further afield, including Japan!
Every subject…
We offer every academic subject and language, as we always have, and have found that many students who used to attend once per week have been able to add an additional weekly session given the flexibility of online tutoring and our virtual classrooms; no need to rely on mum/dad’s taxi service ;)
Our tuition is tailored for students starting at primary school (year 1) all the way up to A-levels and adult learners.
