We have seen a huge increase in the number of people deciding to take the challenge of learning a language and to our delight more and more schools are choosing to incorporate languages into their curriculum. But why is this? We think our new Greek tutor understands why! Here is what Alexia has to say:

"Learning a foreign language is not just about the vocabulary, syntax and grammar rules. You will obviously need these tools if you ever want to put a sentence together, but language is a living 'thing'. It lives, grows and spreads through those who speak it. Speaking another language gives you the opportunity to participate more effectively in a multi-cultural world and heightens your understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity.
You can increase your confidence and creativity when you decide to learn another language. Greek will definitely present you with an opportunity to challenge yourself by learning something different and unique. The Greek alphabet is completely different from the Latin alphabet, so it will always be fun to try and decipher those 'weird' looking letters, and just think how rewarding it will be when you actually do!"

"You will find the majority of words in science, mathematics and medicine come from a Greek origin so learning Greek now will give you a real head start! After the first few months of your learning journey you will start getting a better understanding of the Greek culture, the Greek history and the way Greek people interact and live. There is nothing more exciting than being able to gain a more profound understanding of the language's cultural background, I can assure you that the Greek one is definitely worth knowing!"

We love languages at INICIO and we are very excited to be offering you the chance to learn Spanish, French, German, Russian, Greek and Mandarin.
