Establishing a love of books and reading from an early age is extremely important in a child’s development in terms of their cognitive function and their emotional and social development. We have explored the benefits of reading and developing an enjoyment out of reading can have on children and have put together a few ideas on how you could make story time more fun!
The preparation for SATs is vital and it can be the difference between a pass and a fail. For schools, teachers and pupils there is an immense amount of pressure around these exams and, for teachers and schools, this is one of main the priorities and focuses within the year.
At this point, despite the Chequers plan, everyone is still unsure on the effect of Brexit and I think we will continue to be confused until all of the fine details are hashed out and the clock has struck midnight on the 31st December 2020. However, I am going to join the hoards of people speculating what this monumental political event could mean.
